Martin Consultants, Inc was founded in 1976 to provide state-of-the-art consulting and engineering support services to firms in the mining and related industries. During the intervening years, they have earned a solid reputation for responding quickly to project needs with economic solutions that match the client’s requirements. When Martin Consultants merged with Overland Conveyor Co in 2000, we inherited many capcabilities in the the area of Feasibility Studies.

Thomas J. Martin has been one of the Principal Engineers from the beginning and has been integrally involved with the planning and execution of all engineering projects. These projects typically involve:

• Feasibility analysis of proposed mining equipment systems

• Development and appraisal of mining equipment alternatives,

• Preliminary design of selected systems,

• Planned project schedule,

• Economic evaluation of alternatives utilizing factors such as return on

• investment , net present values and break-even point,

• Preparation of requests for quotes and evaluation of bids,

• Presentation of study results, both with reports and presentations.
